Behavioral consultations can be done either in your home or at the Pawsitive Directions training space. Many clients prefer to have Jody come to their home, especially if that is where problems are occurring. Often, dogs behave more naturally in their own home than they do in a new environment. Behavioral consultations involve taking a complete history on your dog and his/her behavior, followed by a thorough outline of options for you in addressing the issues that are of concern. Educational material is provided for reference after the appointment. A Case Summary along with follow-ups can be sent to your veterinarian for their reference. A second appointment may be recommended, depending on the nature and scope of the behavioral issues being addressed.

Fees for behavioral consultation appointments:
$65 per hour for appointment time
$1.25 per mile roundtrip for travel time if appointment is done in the home
Payment:
Payment is requested at the time of your appointment and can be made by cash or check.
Cancellation Policy:
If you miss your appointment without prior notification of cancellation, a bill will be sent for 1 hour of consultation time plus mileage, if the appointment was scheduled in your home.
